The Rewatec Solido Classic requires servicing once a year to ensure it treats to its full capability. As with any treatment plant, a lack of ongoing servicing will significantly increase the risk of more costly repairs and possible pollution to the environment.
What is done during annual maintenance
Regular servicing of the Solido classic consists of:
- A full system check to ensure no faults have arisen.
- Checking the biology within the plant to ensure treatment quality is high.
- Cleaning down of any rags and hair that build up around pipework.
- Testing pressure from the air blower
- Air filter replacement
- Cleaning the air diffuser
- Testing sludge levels in the primary chamber
- Testing all air lifts to ensure they are not blocked
- adapting settings according to biology within treatment plant
- Reducing power consumption if possible
Extra services which can be performed whilst attending site are:
- Diaphram replacment
- Descaling of the diffusers (important in hard water areas)
- Pump unblocking (pump outlet systems only)
- Pump repair (pumped outlet systems only)
- Pump replacment (if it is unreparable)
- Valve replacement
